How We Protect You

Our entire website is protected by "SSL" or "Secure Socket Layer" encryption technology. Encrypting your user activity ensures that your login process and browsing experience are protected from any potential threats. The transfer of information between your computer and the Midland Mortgage website is secure and safe.

We use a certificate issued by VeriSign, Inc. to validate the encryption. To verify you are on the Midland Mortgage website, you can always click the padlock icon displayed in the address bar. The certificate information should state that the certificate was issued by VeriSign, Inc. to MidFirst Bank (Midland Mortgage is a division of MidFirst Bank).

Strong Authentication

We also use strong authentication to help secure your account. Our website uses several checks to validate that the person claiming to have the right to access information is the correct person.

Occasionally you may need to access the Midland website from a different computer or location; this will trigger an additional authentication process—answering security questions.

If the questions are answered correctly, access to the site will be granted.

The Midland website may not be accessible from certain locations because we block access from some countries that have a higher frequency of fraudulent access requests. If you are traveling and need access to your Midland information, please contact us for assistance.

    • Enter your loan number, full Social Security number and property address ZIP code. If the information you entered matches our information, you will then be asked a series of questions to set up your account.
    • We'll ask you to create a password for your account and answer some security questions with a simple, one-word answer. If you don't like a question, you can select a different one. Be sure the answers you give are easy for you to remember. We may use the security questions to validate your identity during future sessions.
    • Verify that your email address, phone numbers and mailing address are all current.
    • Enter your loan number and password. If you don't remember your loan number, use the forgot loan number function to securely sign in with your Social Security number. If you don't remember your password, use the forgot password function to securely reset your password.
    • As long as you sign in from the same location in the future, you will only need your loan number and password to access your account.
